AMEN, I couldn't agree more. I've started autumn over on my page already, as I got tired of waiting for it.
I'll be up in the Colorado Rockies over the next two weekends taking photos of the leaves changing.

Scarlett: I, too, should be displaying some fall foliage soon.
I am relieved that it is autumn in London now... The days have been sunny but there is crispness in the air and colours in the leaves that are wonderful...

The Mancunian autumn started in early June this year. We're all feeling rather short-changed by summer over here, so I'm rather jealous.
Mellifluous: Great, now I'm craving not only autumn, but specifically autumn in London, which I was lucky enough to have experienced last year.
Lazy P: Hope it helps you to know that our summer is an oppressive, brutal thing.
Well if you want Autumn come and get it. I don't actually remember ever putting the winter woolies away this year.

I remember summer, dimly, and if you lived in San Francisco, that wouldn't be a problem.
Ver: So, Autumn in France. Kind of expensive considering that I'll soon be bitching about the cold. Ah, Chicago...

Ah, sorry Mr MT, I adore autumn with a passion that is quite possibly obscene and insane. The sight of shiny conkers, red/golden/russet leaves, the air is just perfection to me...
