Phoctober the fifth
More yard sales. I especially liked the last one. He had loads of what could have either been Halloween decorations or perhaps the unwanted lesser pieces of a macabre collection.
Why, I wonder, did they seem to work so hard to make the head appear realistic, but then craft those fingers so poorly?

because it is even more unsettling that way.
Reminds me of last scary movie I saw (I'm okay with aliens and such so I don't mean that when I say scary), Pet Cemetery. What really bothered me about how freaked out I was, was that some of the make-up/ special effects, I thought were bad, but that somehow only added to the creepy.
I really really do not like that thing. I can feel the frown lines deepening as I sit here, nasty nasty pastey white head thing. Baby in tree=much better.
That head is really realistic, not sure about the sausage rolls though.
Taffiny: Sorry to disturb you. Although I'm still not convinced that a baby in a tree is any less disturbing. And, I hope you don't mind that I've linked to your roses post for the sixth Phoctober post. You didn't identify them as Phoctoberly, but they seem right to me.
Ver: Yes. I suppose I keep thinking that they had a limited amount of time or money, and when the head was done had used almost all of it up, so they threw the fingers together in an hour os so.
Sent a chill down my spine!
