A friend of mine went through and read a bunch of this blog once she learned I had one. Her main comment was "wow, you really love Chicago."
I guess it's true. I pine for London, but Chicago does just fine for now. And it is a beautiful city, even if it is sometimes a flawed sort of beauty.

My son 12- "I would rather bake brownies than go to, or watch on TV, a sporting event."
Me- "I would rather hang out with someone who would rather bake brownies, than someone who would prefer to be at a sporting event or watching one on TV."
Son- "So would I!!"
I prefer to be ferreted out, but you probably should keep doing that job thing, so..yes I did do a Phoctober post today, and I can add a spider from October 1st to Kyklops's.
I'll start tomorrow... will have some Colorado autumn color to share.
I thought I saw that foggy city shot on here last year; it's very nice, don't mind seeing it again.

Kyklops: Thanks for warning me there would be an arachnid present. Those things are well outside of my happy place.
