Monday Morning Haiku - Tuesday, September 9

(if not the day)

Rusty though I am
I recollect the meter:
five, seven, and five

aaaah. One of my favorites. Thanks for revisiting the Monday morning ritual. I missed it.

Mr. Moon! Good to know that you're off that bus at last. Ever do the prose equivalent of Haiku (Haibun)? I think it has to be 100 words exactly and in the spirit of Haiku.

Suze: I'm getting to revisit all sort of things nowadays. Thanks for tuning in.

Signs: I have never tried that. My prose, however, tends to go on and on, because I am often long-winded and incapable of editing down my thoughts to a suitable length. I'm not certain I would be well suited to that sort of task—one hundred words sure doesn't seem like a lot. (is that 100 yet?)

Debi: Heya. Thanks. Nice to see you again.

HinSF: Thankya, and lovely to see you again.

58, actually (including the words in brackets) :)

A good one. As the poet John Cooper Clarke said (If you've heard it, I apologize):

"to express yourself
in 17 syllables
is very diffic"

:)

Signs: I KNEW you'd count! Yay!

Dominic: I think I have seen that before, but it's a delightful one every time. Thanks for the smile.
