Rim shop

I don't know how ubiquitous these stores are outside of urban America, but they're not an uncommon sight here in Chicago. They sell wheels—new and used, apparently—but usually not tires. I've always wondered how these places stay in business.

I especially like how the "Parking" sign had to be placed backward in order to have the arrow point the right way. Just one of the thousands of decisions a small-business owner must make.

I'm pretty sure they used school bus paint on the outside of the building. Or possibly mustard.

Um. Start wherever you like, Caroline. I have no idea what your thoughts might be. I cannot fill in the blanks.

I do believe, Mr. T, that they sell "Weels," according to that sign. I'm sure they do a bustling business.

GT: You are correct. Spelling is not the most important factor in the pimping of one's ride, I suppose.

Way cool side bar. Photoshop? I found nothing of interest to take a picture of today. Plus I was just plain uninspired. It's been a long tough week and I have to go in again tomorrow :>(

Chris: Yeah, photoshop. They're not naming streets after me just yet.

Sorry no pics today from you. Maybe tomorrow you'll feel more inspired...

ok. The blanks.
Spelling of weels, used wheels, the yellowness of the colour, the need, the fact that it exists so must have customers, the open sign, the parking 'in rear,' the rather rude undertones, my jealousy at not being there and shopping in there. I do so want to pimp my ride. I have a red mini. She is beautiful.
Better?

Caroline: Yes, I shall accept this second attempt. I can understand how you may have needed to take the weekend to sort out your thoughts on this complicated and highly divisive subject.

perhaps it'll be a month before it really sinks in.
